Concept vise Health Insurance is Good but In practical, it increase Medical Cost in India. Reason is Most of Hospitals are running only for profit in India.
If any Person covered under Health Insurance of Rs. 2 Lakh and went for little operation. Doctor know amount and give treatment as to meet to amount of Health Insurance. This is Practice adopted by most of Private Hospitals Whereas Actual Cost is very Low.
Indirectly its increase Medical Cost.
Health issues are similar in USA and India but Fact is, here most hospitals are for Profit whereas in USA most are not for profit.
Only Government have Solution. It can announce and publish chart where actual cost of medical operation & treatment.
If Government can't take proactively, situation will be horrible in future as we know health & associated things are big concern in India. We don't have Government hospitals as we require. So. Ultimately People go to Private hospitals where situation is not control under Government.
So. I knock to Mr J P Nadda ji central Health minister please take your concern to this area also.
